ADMISSIONS FAQ’S
My child does not speak any English – how will he or she cope?
Our teachers and support staff are very experienced at helping students with little or no English to settle quickly and happily. They will make sure that your child plays games with classmates that develop vocabulary and fluency and our small class sizes mean that the staff can give your child a great deal of attention.
Is there a waiting list?
If a class or a grade level is full, a pupil may be accepted to our school but, placed on a waiting list until space becomes available.
How do I apply to Kam Kindergarten and Primary School?
In order to apply to our school parents/guardians are encouraged to visit us during school hours (i.e Monday to Friday 07:00hrs to 16:00 expect public holidays).
Do you have a special Kindergarten wing?
Yes, all of our Kindergarten rooms are clustered together, in the early learning centre building.
What happens if my child gets sick or hurt?
You will be called right away if the injury is severe, or if your child needs to go home due to illness.
What makes your Kindergarten program unique?
To start, we offer an enriched program with the focus being that the students will enter grade one with the fundamentals of reading and writing, as well as having an introduction to math.
