The successful candidate will:

• Develop and implement rigorous and appropriate lesson plans and assessments
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze pupils assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction
• Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss pupils work, share best practices, plan events.
• Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication
• Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for pupils’ personal and academic success
• Commit to professional growth, self-reflection, a receptiveness to feedback, and a desire to continuously improve

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Diploma required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement
• TCZ certification - completed
• 5+ years of working experience
• Demonstrated expertise in subject area
• Determination to drive pupil achievement and set high expectations for all pupils
• The ability to motivate, support, and challenge pupils in a child-centered, standards-driven classroom community
• A positive mindset and a drive for personal excellence
• Solutions-oriented resiliency to respond positively and effectively to challenges
• Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous and engaging strategies

School Librarian

Start Date: 23rd April 2019 Job Description & Selection Criteria • A full Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma/ Degree in Library Studies
• Three years hands-on experience in managing a school library.
• At least 26 years old
• Experience of working with databases and digital resources
• Ability to develop a positive relationship with all library users
• Confident IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excellent knowledge of a wide range of literature for children
• An interest in continuous professional development and a willingness to undertake relevant training, for example in library software packages
• To encourage pupils and staff in using the library through supporting a range of library based activities, including pupils from the Early Learning Centre to Upper Primary
• To encourage and enable all library users to develop their love of reading, to share knowledge of authors and make recommendations
• To assist with creative and imaginative displays of books, posters and other materials, to encourage reading and book borrowing
• To introduce and maintain library clerical procedures to keep a proper inventory of all library and reading schemes materials
• To keep abreast of all librarianship developments, particularly in educational fields, by attending seminars and workshops, visiting other institutions and reading the relevant literature and publications.

Special Needs Teacher


Number of vacancies: 1 **THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:** 1. Utilize differentiated strategies to plan learning activities and groupings within the classroom.
2. Develop and implement rigorous and appropriate lesson plans and assessments.
3. Work closely with school leaders to analyse special needs pupil’s assessment data to measure progress.
4. Design Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
5. Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication
6. Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for special needs pupils’ personal and academic success.
7. Commit to professional growth, self-reflection, a receptiveness to feedback, and a desire to continuously improve
8. Have experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities **EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:**
1. Diploma required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement.
2. TCZ Special Education Certificate – Process Completed
3. 3+ years of working experience IN A PRIVATE SCHOOL as a Special Need’s teacher.
4. Demonstrated expertise in sign language, speech therapy etc
5. Determination to drive pupil achievement and set high expectations for all pupils
6. The ability to motivate, support, and challenge pupils in a child-centered, standards-driven classroom community
7. A positive mindset and a drive for personal excellence
8. Solutions-oriented resiliency to respond positively and effectively to challenges
9. Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous and engaging strategies
10. A full Grade 12 certificate
